“NLP is like a set of precision tools; they can do wonders when you know how and for what purpose to use them.”

I coach

to connect people with who they know they truly are. I believe that when we are in touch with our authentic selves, we open the door for extraordinary achievements and positive impact.

I am doing so to facilitate the process of change for those who decide to engage their potential in creating the world they envision. I want to facilitate the courageous transition from a habit of quick fix self-defeating remedies to truly living by one’s principles, which generate long-term results.

I also want to be part of the tremendous shifts underway in the world today and actively play my part in the snowball effect we can all co-create when we choose to walk our talk with purpose, discipline, dedication and devotion.

This is important to me because

my life experiences have helped me to shape a vision where I see that we can be ourselves inside-out and give full expression to who and what we are. As Marianne Williamson puts it very eloquently:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?” Actually who are you not to be?

…Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory that is within us. And as we let our light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Therefore, it is to exist beyond myself, to get people to purposely positively impact their world that is important to me.

I have known about NLP

and its potential benefits since mid 1990’s and I recently decided to educate myself with the most recent techniques and discoveries, in order to use it purposefully in my coaching. I came to NLP with the objective to improve my ability to empower people so that they can live their dreams.

For the coachee, NLP is like a GPS Mind-body Application, which allows me to make the best possible use of who I am in service of what I really want to achieve.

I use NLP at 3 main levels:

The simplest and yet very powerful level

is about stating and sharing some the NLP insights or presuppositions, such as

  • “There is no failure only feedback.”
  • “Everything we focus on expands.”
  • “When I will believe it, I will see it.”

Those presuppositions and much more are very often eye-openers to help my client associate and apply NLP insights in his everyday life.

At the diagnostic prognosis level

the power of NLP comes alive by helping my clients discover what is – really – in their way to be overcome. The experiential nature and depth of the model help them make logical sense (left brain) with their five senses fully alert (right brain work). The more we leverage on the mind-body connection, the more empowered we will be to follow through with whatever plan or project we decide to undertake.

At a third level

I use NLP for what I call “surgical intervention” to accelerate a given process. We use specific models; anchoring tools to be used in between sessions to reinforce some empowering state or address a particular issue.

Many of my clients are entrepreneurs or international executives in life or career transition. My role as a coach is to facilitate the process of transformation and help them bridge the gap between where they are and where they really want to be. In these types of situations, NLP capabilities and wisdom expands my range and capacity of intervention as a coach tremendously.

The experiential nature of NLP along with its intrinsic flexibility and robustness allow me to work at different levels of depth and in various conditions, according to the problems we want to address:

  • I can use it as an all-around stand-alone model,
  • I can use NLP models for sharp and incisive interventions blending with my Co-Active approach.

As an example, I recently used NLP to work with a CEO to clarify his vision regarding what he wanted to achieve both professionally and personally within the next 12 months. During the process of designing his project, NLP helped us go back in time to overcome some limiting beliefs. All this was done to ensure that he was fully committed to his goal.

In conclusion

through decades of research and modelling excellence, NLP is able to offer instruments to successfully work around questions of different depths like:

  • “What is my purpose in life?”
  • “What is the best action plan (specific, sustainable, ecological) to reach my objective?”
  • “How do I consistently implement, follow, behaviours which allow me to interact with others in the best of our interest?”
  • “How can I overcome some long-term limiting beliefs to achieve my goal?”
  • “How can I authentically trust that I have what it takes inside to have the impact I want outside.”

Become a Certified Coach—work with people beyond their logical thinking.
People know what’s good and right for them, but when it comes to execution, they can’t get the results they want because what the mind thinks is not aligned in the body and emotions. If you want to be a great coach, you want to go beyond what they know in the head. Your ability to align their minds (IQ) to their hearts (EQ) and their body (PQ) puts you in great advantage to help people move things forward. The more people are aligned to themselves, the less they work against their own flow. Learn about our ICI Coaching Certification.
